2024 in Review: A Year of Growth and Innovation With eMarketeer

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re excited to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together. This year has been all about enhancing the features and tools that empower you to streamline your marketing efforts, generate more qualified leads, and drive meaningful results.

Here’s a look at the major updates and improvements we introduced this year—and how they’ve made eMarketeer even better for you. 

New Features to Supercharge Your Workflow

Lead Management Enhancements
This year, we focused heavily on refining the lead management process to make it smarter and more effective. Here are some of the improvements:
  • Journey: Delete lead step – Automate the removal of leads from your lead boards when they no longer meet your criteria.
  • Journey Personalisation – Add personalisation to sales and activity descriptions, making it easier for your team to take action based on lead data. You can also dynamically address notifications based on contact card fields. 
  • Journey: Wait for trigger – This new journey step waits until a contact performs a defined task before the Journey continues.
  • Journey: Dynamic recipient on notifier step –  Use @ character to insert contact card fields as recipient address. Useful if you have sales contact email as custom field on your contacts.
  • Journey: Step conditions – Some steps you may want to skip if some criteria is not met (without creating a new branch). You can now do this by setting conditions on the steps.
  • Trigger Journey from contact card/lead card and side panel in SuperOffice. Create Journeys and let users in eMarketeer or the CRM trigger them from the contact card on selected contacts.
  • Lead board filters – New filters allow you to sort leads by sales user or identify unassigned leads for quick action.
  • Journey starting point: New filters available on “Dates”. Ex. “Last email sent”
  • Journey Templates – Save time and improve efficiency with pre-built Journey templates, which allow you to customise and deploy campaigns faster, based on common use cases. 
  • Forms : Direct Excel Exports – We made it easier to manage and work with your data. Export contact data and form answers directly to Excel for faster reporting and analysis.

Improved Integrations for Seamless Marketing

SuperOffice CRM Integration
We’ve enhanced our integration with SuperOffice to make it even more powerful:
  • New Contact Signal – Automatically create contacts in eMarketeer when they are added or updated in SuperOffice, triggering Journeys like welcome emails.
  • Sale Closed Signals – Trigger actions in eMarketeer when a deal is won, like sending a welcome email or moving leads to the appropriate stage. Read more (https://support.emarketeer.com/documentation/superoffice-signals/)
  • Side Panel Enhancements – View subscription details and create contacts directly from the SuperOffice side panel, making data management seamless.
  • Start a Journey from the Side Panel – Journeys can now be triggered manually from the sidepanel in SuperOffice. Great way to manually start a welcome flow, evaluation process or begin a customer journey directly from the SuperOffice interface.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Integration
We introduced Phase 1 of our Microsoft Dynamics integration, which brings several key improvements to your CRM and marketing workflows:
  • Authentication and Automatic Setup – Set up the integration environment automatically, with secure authentication for easy, streamlined use.
  • Contact Sync – Synchronise contact data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 to eMarketeer effortlessly, ensuring your lead and customer data is always up to date.
  • Consent Sync – Stay compliant with GDPR regulations by syncing contact consent automatically every 30 minutes.
  • Address Dynamics Marketing Lists Directly from eMarketeer – Build your target audience in Microsoft Dynamics lists and address them directly within eMarketeer, allowing for a more streamlined process.

Enhanced Usability and Performance

User Experience Updates

This year, we focused on making eMarketeer even easier to use:

  • Language Settings – You can now select your preferred interface language directly in your account settings.
  • Contact List Improvements – Contact list names are now visible in the UI, making it easier to navigate your data.
Performance Upgrades
  • Email Delivery Enhancements – We’ve made email authentication even more seamless and GDPR-friendly for new users, improving deliverability and reducing bounce rates.
  • SMS Stability – We’ve made significant improvements to the SMS module, ensuring faster and more reliable message delivery.
  • Faster Lead Board Updates – We’ve optimized the lead generation processing speed for even quicker updates to your lead boards.

Compliance and Reliability

Email Authentication

This year, we made updates to ensure email authentication complies with new standards set by Google and Yahoo. This improves email delivery rates and ensures better DMARC alignment, giving you more reliable results from your email campaigns. Numerous email deliverability enhancements have been made including:

  • Improved pre-sendout email validation to reduce bounces.
  • Email service redundancy implemented
  • New contact email status “Inactive email”
  • New sendout option – “Exclude inactive contacts”.
  • New contact filter on “Deliverable but unengaged” in the delivery filter.
GDPR-Focused Improvements

We’ve focused heavily on compliance, adding features such as consent syncing and the ability to exclude inactive contacts, so you can maintain compliance while optimizing sendouts.

Expanded API Support

We’ve added enhanced API capabilities to allow deeper integrations with other platforms, extending eMarketeer’s flexibility.
